Instructor Bio:
Qari Salem Jahedar hails from a respectable family of Qur’an reciters and teachers in Libya. His father, Ali Salem Jahedar ensured that his many sons memorized the Qur’an and perfected its science of recitation.
Salem Jahedar attended the Faculty of Islamic Studies at the University of Tripoli where he achieved a Bachelors of Islamic Studies. He later migrated to Canada with his family and has subsequently taught the Qur’an and led the prayers occasionally at the Islamic Institute of Toronto and other masaajid.
